October 18th, 2006, Dr Laura Dawson visited CNAIS and gave a lecture “IPE:Theory Vs Application”.
Laura Dawson is the Senior Associate for Teaching and Research at the Centre for Trade Policy and Law, CarletonUniversity, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She holds an MA in International Affairs (IPE) from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and a PhD in Political Science (IR and public policy) from CarletonUniversity.
Her professional work includes executive training, research and advisory services in WTO-related issues for government officials around the world including China, Russia, CIS Station and Latin America. She has published work on international negotiations, regional trade agreements, and transboundary migration. In 2004-2007 her international work includes Clients from China, Russia, Cuba, Commonwealth Caribbean, Okarche and Central America.
