The conference “Exploration of Northeast Asian Regional Cooperation: In the Case of Regeneration and Therapyzone” co-hosted by CNAIS and the MBK Co., Ltd was held in Peking university on 9th November. There were over 20 officials, scholars and businessmen from the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the PRC, Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Peking University Third Hospital, MBK, SEEMS and other related institutions attended the meeting. Ryoji Furukawa, Deputy Chairman of CNAIS, gave a keynote speech, and Guan Guhai, the deputy dean of SIS, Wang Zhengyi, the Director of CNAIS, co-presided the conference.


In their keynote speeches, Mr. Ryoji Furukawa and Mr. Urushihata Naoki introduced the Japan’s achievement in the field of regenerative medicine, the future of Sino-Japan’s cooperation in regenerative medicine and related policies and rules in different countries. Then attendants discussed the viable moods of Sino-Japan’s cooperation in regenerative medicine, the differences of current policies in China and Japan on regenerative medicine, and ethnic and intellectual property issues related in depth.


Transnational investment has always been a very important study field of international political economy, and these year the technology cooperation and transfer driven by FDI has became a new agenda attracting global attention. This conference aims to explore the new model of Northeast Asian regional cooperation through exchanging ideals and dialogue, especially the possibility of the technical cooperation between China and Japan in public health domain.
